St Margaret of Antioch is over 700 years old. It is now facing it’s biggest restoration in 100 years as the fabric is failing.

The handmade roof tiles have started to fall, leaving the structure vulnerable to water ingress. Previous, well-meaning, attempts to restore the walls have actually weakened the fabric. The windows need attention. The block flooring needs attention.

Most of all, the Cowlinge Doom – described as ‘of national significance’ needs attention.
